A proud race of warriors, reduced from a people of action to a people of words.
What a pity. |

What a pity. Come say that to my face and I shall sternly lecture you about how wrong you are.
When is a good time? |

Silas Vitalia wrote:That might be an amusing confrontation between those two. I saw Starfire in space once. To her credit she was quite aggressive and did not flee superior firepower. She lost her ship of course but I do admire her tenacity.
If memory serves... you also werent alone.
Though you were by the time my ship was destroyed.
The original piece was beautifully worded. I apologize for derailing the thread. |

When God Wields a Khumaak
A sword does not need to know what it cuts. It needs to be sharp. A locust does not need to know whose field it feeds upon. It needs to be hungry. A tribe of savage heathens does not need to see God's Light to be a tool in His hands.
To punish the wicked. To descend on the weak whose master is sin.
The sin of pride.
You.
The immortal, who thinks that the world was created to serve you alone.
Remember.
When those who were Chosen turn to the Beast,
When those born to enlighten instead enslave,
When the gold turns crimson with the blood of the innocents
And the Horned Skull laughs,
God wields a Khumaak.
Thank you. |

Nico, I am going to guess she is, and offer that, who cares what it was originally. It is what it is now that matters; a symbol of Minmatar independence to some, a symbol of power to others, a symbol of faith for still others. It has become a very, very "Minmatar" item.
You are awarre, Nicoletta, that your starship was once a rock, floating in space?

Tamiroth wrote:Ava Starfire wrote:Thank you. You are welcome, though my message was not directed to your kind. I merely wrote that if we have too many people like the late chamberlain Karsoth in charge and too many Revan Neferis-like "unbound demigods" roaming around, God may suddenly hit us in the head with a random object to instill some sense, as it happened before.
Oh, I was quite sure it was not directed at my "kind".
That dosent mean that it isnt true with respect to my "kind".
Amarr reached too far, and tried to steal the fruit from one too many plates. It got its hand slapped. My "kind" did the slapping.
With a Khu'maak. |

With a Khu'maak. ...and with a little help from the Jovians at Vak'Atioth. Don't forget the weaponry smuggled in by the Federation and subsequent combat training. Come to think of it, what part of the Minmatar Rebellion was actually carried out solely by the Minmatar? Or the founding of the Minmatar Republic for that matter.
GÇ£I doubt that history will record how fiercely we fought for our freedom. There will be no chronicles detailing the courage of Minmatar warriors or the unity of our tribes during the Rebellion. But historians will go to great lengths to make sure that other Empires take credit for ensuring our survival, and that before we were anything else, we were slaves first. On that point, future generations will be certain.GÇ¥

So, why would God makes things "different" only to tell the Amarr to make them all the same?
Seems to me God loves variety. |

Only a few pages in before Silas chimes in about the Matari in typical fashion. Bravo!
Horak misspoke, I chastised him quickly and that was the end of it. If it were not for the fact that I am Minmatar, I'd think that you wouldn't be running your mouth.
Please think before you comment, sweetheart.
There wouldn't be a need for 'chiming in' if your ilk stayed in the Matari section of the pool, and weren't defecating and chest-beating in young Tamiroth's otherwise eloquent Amarr and Khanid discussion. I always think before I comment, that's what separates me and mine from most of you Tribals. But if you think I'm running my mouth unwarrantedly, come shut me up. Bring friends.
Sounds like chestbeating to me. |

So does it matter by what name one calls "God"? Is God vain? Selfish?
Am I unrighteous because I follow the Spirits? Is a wicked holder righteous because he follows the Amarrian God? |
